TRAINING IN UNITED KINGDOM.

Two Officers and three N.C.0's of the Volunteers who are on

leave in the United Kingdom are due to attend either a Course or

an attachment to the Regular Army. This period is taken from their

ordinary leave and reflects on their keenness.

Attached to a Regular Infantry Battalion to

undergo Refresher Instruction in the Vickers

Machine Gun and Preliminary Instruction in the

Trench Mortar.

4. Sergeant G.G. Stopani-Thomson.

Vickers Machine Gun Serial No.813 53rd

Qualifying Course.

5. Sergeant L.W. Hume.

Attached to a Regular R.A.M.C. Unit for

Instruction in Modical Services in the Field.
